...btw i think mmm made an error there about the timing...actually if you go in at 11.00pm, then you have 13 hrs there freee...haha, that should satisfy all your grilling needs hee hee
as for the room rates they are pretty hefty for the night , like 10,500 yen for 2 ppl in a rm, but also they have different types of rm for singles and twin..the
most expensive one is the twin sharing one....S type for 21,500 yen a night. honglimpark/regret.gif normally only this type of room is left available if you go in late...la

Hmm...just some amendments:

If you enter after 9pm, you get to stay for 14 hrs. If you enter before 9pm, you get to stay for 12 hrs. Additional hr stay is an extra 100 yen.

Private Rooms have different 'grades', but the cheapest that I saw is at 8500 yen per night, and room stays are strictly for 12 hrs only. An extra hour would cost you 100 yen. I checked in at abt 8pm, and I have to pay 9500 yen in all, as between 8 to 9 pm is considered an extra hours since the actual 12 hrs room stay starts at 9pm. The most expensive ones are the western style rooms, which looks very much like a normal hotel 81 room. The rate is at 11,500 yen...I think. I usually get the cheapest one, which is jap style room, with just tatami as bed and the usual stuff...no frills.

Asakusa 24kaikan is generally more quiet as compared to the 24kaikan in Ueno, but u get to see some gems too. The 24kaikan in Ueno can be super crowded on friday and sat nights, with abt 200-300 pple packing into that ten-storey building, Sleeping and making out on staircases and along corridors, and if they like you they do not mind you joining in the fun. The crowd can get pretty unpredictable: when I slept on a bunk bed at abt 10pm the place was quite deserted, when I woke up at abt 2am I have 2 lying beside me, 1 giving me head, 1 onlooker and another one starting to climb up to my deck. All around me I heard moans and the slapping of balls against butts...a sharp contrast to the deafening silence when I first fell asleep.
